DocViewer Terms of Use
The Korean version of these terms is the governing text; this English version is provided for convenience.
1. Purpose
These terms set out the rights and obligations of Raijin Labs ("we") and users of the DocViewer app (the "App").
2. The App
The App lets you view, edit and convert HWP/HWPX, PDF, Excel, PowerPoint and Word documents on your phone. Viewing is free; some editing features may be paid. No account is required.
3. Paid features and payment
- The type, price and term (one-time purchase or subscription) of paid features are shown on the Google Play purchase screen before you buy.
- Payments are processed through Google Play Billing and are subject to Google Play's terms.
- You can cancel a subscription at any time in Google Play under "Payments & subscriptions"; you will not be charged from the next billing date.
4. Cancellation and refunds
- You can request a refund through Google Play within the period and in the manner Google Play provides.
- Other refund requests can be sent to the contact below and will be handled under applicable law, including the Korean Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights.
- If a paid feature does not work due to a fault on our side, you are entitled to a refund.
5. Your documents
- Documents you open stay on your device; we do not store them. Please keep your own backups of important files.
- Documents may look different from the original program because of font and format differences. Check edited documents before submitting or printing them.
- Using text recognition (OCR) sends document images to Google Cloud Vision. See the Privacy Policy.
6. Liability
We work to provide the App reliably. Except in cases of our intent or gross negligence, and to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses caused by device or operating-system conditions or by differences in document formats.
7. Intellectual property
We own the copyright in the App. Open-source components are used under their licenses, listed in the App's "About" screen. This product was developed with reference to the public HWP file format documentation published by Hancom Inc.
8. Changes
We will post changes on this page at least 7 days before they take effect, or 30 days before for changes unfavorable to users.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes will be resolved in the competent court under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
